On October 6, in the Miedziana Room of the Krzysztofory Palace, a scientific session was held, connected with the 120th anniversary of the Krakow Workshop and Stained Glass Museum. During the session, one could hear lectures by Prof. Wojciech Bałus, Dr. Tomasz Szybisty, Zuzanna Mortka, Dr. Joanna Utzig and Grażyna Fiałkowska, and an interview with the director of the studio, Piotr Ostrowski, led by editor Marek Sołtysik.
The culminating point was the signing of a letter of intent on the creation of a new local government institution, the Stained Glass Museum, which is to be a research and promotion centre for stained glass art, and the CSGS researchers will also participate in its activities. The letter of intent was signed by: Rector of the Jagiellonian University Prof. Jacek Popiel, Rector of AGH UST Prof. Jerzy Lis, Vice-Rector of the Academy of Fine Arts prof. Robert Sowa and Piotr Ostrowski, director of the (still private) S.G. Żeleński Workshop and Stained Glass Museum.
Members of the Corpus Vitrearum Polska and of the CSGS presented the following papers, while the full program of the event is available in the gallery.
