Dr Tomasz Szybisty

A graduate of the Jagiellonian University in art history (2004) and German studies (2005); PhD thesis: Nineteenth-century stained-glass windows of Krakow churches and chapels (2010, Faculty of History of the Jagiellonian University). Scholarships and research sojourns in Leipzig, Rostock, Cologne, Munich, and Freiburg im Breisgau. Since 2006, he has been associated with the Institute of Modern Languages at the Pedagogical University in Krakow (assistant professor since 2011). Since 2015, the head (along with Dr. habil. Joanna Godlewicz-Adamiec) of the "Literature – Contexts" project, currently conducted at the Pedagogical University of Krakow, the University of Warsaw and the Universities of Wuppertal and Santiago da Compostela. A member of the Association of Art Historians (Stowarzyszenie Historyków Sztuki), the Association of Stained-Glass Enthusiasts (Stowarzyszenie Miłośników Witraży) "Ars Vitrea Polona", the Association of Polish Germanists and Corpus Vitrearum (since 2008 secretary of the Polish Committee).
